The Adjacent Possible: Building Internal and External Networks

Abstract

Building on Steven Johnson’s concept of innovation, the session explored how the theoretical underpinnings of innovation and social networking can be applied to libraries to fully integrate them with the academic and broader communities. Developing meaningful connections within your own institution and outreach possibilities with community and government organizations were discussed.
